Arrival
When your flight is approved and paid, you will be awaited at the appointed time and date on the airfield for your upcoming jet fighter flight. At the FBO, you’ll meet the pilot who will introduce himself and make you feel comfortable.
Dressing Up
Prior to fly a jet, you’ll have to get dressed up accordingly. To comply with safety requirements, you’ll be given a helmet and a NOMEX flight suit. After getting dressed, you will discuss the jet fighter flight program with your pilot. Feel free to express your wishes – whenever possible, jet flight programs will be modified to accommodate your needs.
Learning the Rules
Shortly before the jet flight, the pilot will give you important information about flight safety. As these military jets are no airliners, different rules apply – for your own safety, it’s important to be familiar with them.
Familiarize with the Cockpit
After the safety training, you’ll be cleared to the ramp where the plane is being made ready for flight. You can climb up the plane and take a seat in the cockpit. While you’re in the cockpit, the pilot will explain you all instruments and answer questions you might have. When all is clear, your seat belts will be fastened, the ejection seat will be put in active mode, the canopy will be closed.
Test & Take-Off
The pilot enters his cockpit. The pilot will test all systems of the plane such as rudders, pedals, flaps and the engine. Once these tests are completed, the jet fighter is ready for the flight.
Flight
For the first time in your life, you’ll fly a jet – and you’ll understand what this means. Enormous G-forces will push you into your seat as you’ll perform military maneuvers. Thanks to the in-airplane communication system, you’ll be able to tell the pilot how you feel. He will make sure your flight remains memorable, while at the same time you won’t get ill.
After the Flight
After the jet fighter flight is time for relaxation. You’ll be unstrapped and you might be happy to have steady ground under your feet again. You’ll be allowed to take pictures for memory and discuss the jet flight with your pilot.
